Roopak is a Director with CohnReznick Capital and is based in the New York office. He is primarily focused on corporate/platform M&A transactions and capital raising across the renewable energy industry.

Roopak has been with CohnReznick Capital for over 5 years and has over a decade of investment banking experience. He has executed over $1.5 billion of M&A and corporate capital raising transactions, including senior debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, and equity transactions. His experience includes working across a broad universe of institutional investors including private equity, venture capital, insurance / pension funds and family offices.

Prior to joining CohnReznick Capital, Roopak was a Senior Associate in Lazard’s Private Placement Group where his responsibilities included due diligence, financial modeling, marketing and transaction execution. Prior to Lazard, Roopak spent several years at Raymond James & Associates helping support the firm’s restructuring, debt placement and equity placement efforts. Roopak started his career as part of General Electric’s Financial Management Program (FMP) and Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) where his assignments included financial planning & analysis, business development and internal audit.

Roopak graduated with a B.S.B.A in Finance from the University of Florida.
