João is a Senior Associate in CohnReznick Capital’s New York office. He focuses on financial structuring and modeling, due diligence, transaction management, and deal negotiation for renewable energy project finance and M&A transactions.

Before joining CohnReznick Capital, João was a Manager with EY’s transaction advisory service line. He spent the first ten years of his career in engineering roles, most notably as an Independent Engineer at kW Engineering’s New York office.

João received an MBA from IE Business School in Spain, as well as an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Applied Thermodynamics and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon.

João is fluent in Portuguese and English.
