Iany Ianachkova

Director

Iany is a Director with CohnReznick Capital and is based in the New York office. Since joining the Firm in 2011, she has raised $3 billion in capital and has worked on 3,500 MW of solar & wind transactions. Iany focuses on corporate raises, debt financing, the acquisition or sale of renewable energy projects, early development assets, and platform investments. She is experienced in all major tax equity structures including target-yield and calendar-dated partnership flips, inverted leases, and sale leasebacks as well as Paygo PTC structures.

Iany has represented a number of clients in asset sales as well as platform acquisitions. She advised on the sale of a 10 GW solar development platform to a Fortune 500 global energy company. Recently, she sold a battery storage asset in California, which was one of the largest and most innovative assets in its class. She also represented a leading pension plan in North America in the identification and acquisition of a distributed generation solar platform.

Prior to CRC, Iany was part of the global value portfolio management team at AllianceBernstein. She also completed short-term assignments with SunEdison and the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg.

Iany earned an MBA and Masters of International Affairs dual degree from Columbia Business School and Columbia School of International and Public Affairs, respectively. She received a B.S. in Foreign Service, magna cum laude, from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
