Nick is a Partner and Senior Managing Director at CohnReznick Capital based in the New York office. He has 16 years of experience in M&A and structured finance advisory with leading renewable energy companies and investors. Nick has served as financial advisor on more than 80 structured equity transactions, with projects ranging in size from 5MW to 500MW. He has a core focus on wind, solar and carbon capture & storage projects and platforms, with transaction experience covering the entire industry spectrum of residential solar, C&I distributed generation and utility scale projects.
Nick’s recent transaction experience includes buy-side advisory for multiple pension funds and institutional investors covering the acquisitions of COD and operating wind and solar portfolios ranging from 500MW to 2GW per transaction. He has also advised on numerous PTC/ITC qualification transactions, allowing for the effective transfer of qualified equipment to new partnerships, and structured hold co tax equity partnerships, resulting in unitranche tax-efficient investment product offerings to solar project sponsors.
Prior to joining CohnReznick Capital, Nick was a Transaction Advisor in the Structured Finance Group at GE Energy Financial Services, focusing primarily on renewable energy investments in the U.S., Europe, Canada and Japan. Conor McKenna

Conor McKenna is a Partner and Senior Managing Director at CohnReznick Capital. He has advised on over 125 renewable energy transactions across utility scale, distributed generation, and residential assets during his decade plus career. Conor provides strategic and transaction advisory services including platform and project M&A, corporate capital raising, and structuring, negotiating and financing tax equity and debt investments. Conor’s renewable energy expertise has been honed working with the leading strategic, infrastructure and financial institutions. He has a strong relationship network and is adept at creating unique financing structures for energy companies, developers, power producers, and private equity/infrastructure funds.
Conor was the firm’s first dedicated renewable energy banker. Prior to joining CohnReznick Capital, Conor worked in the Renewable Energy Structured Finance Group at Evolution Markets, focusing primarily on Renewable Energy Credits and Bundled PPA’s. He was previously a member of EcoSecurities’ investment team, where he helped manage large carbon project portfolios.

Gary is a Partner and Managing Director with CohnReznick Capital based in the New York office. Gary has closed equity investments in over 5GW of utility-scale and C&I wind and solar projects, including tax equity, cash equity, and sale lease-back transactions.
Gary was previously a Senior Vice President at GE Energy Financial Services, where he led deal teams in the structuring, diligence, and negotiation of investments in renewable energy projects in the US and Canada. Prior to GE EFS, Gary worked at Standard & Poor’s, developing models used by commercial banks for assessing the credit risk of C&I companies.
Earlier in his career, Gary served as an officer in the United States Navy, supervising the operation of nuclear reactor plants on aircraft carriers and teaching college-level classes to university students enrolled in the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps.

Britta primarily focuses on transaction management, including corporate M&A, project finance, and tax equity structuring and negotiation with over $4B raised for renewable energy to date. She has led numerous renewable energy financings, mergers, and acquisitions for utility-scale and distributed generation wind, solar, and storage companies and assets, both in the U.S. and globally.
Before joining CohnReznick Capital, Britta was Head of Corporate Strategy and Development for Gestamp Solar, where she led M&A transactions and project financings for U.S. solar projects. Prior to Gestamp Solar, Britta was a Group Manager for Windkraft Nord AG, a German wind and solar developer, managing the Italian operations for the development of a 1GW+ portfolio of wind and solar assets throughout Italy. Before moving to Italy, Britta worked with Lehman Brothers’ Global Power Group.
As one of few senior women in renewable energy finance, Britta has received multiple industry awards, including the 2020 U.S. C3E Finance Award issued by the U.S. Department of Energy; 2020 ‘Most Influential Women in Business’ by the San Francisco Business Times; and Renewable Energy World’s ‘Solar 40 Under 40’ in 2018.

Jeff Manning

Jeff is a Managing Director in CohnReznick Capital’s Baltimore Office. He has over 40 years of capital markets and investment banking experience across several industries, providing M&A, corporate finance, and strategic advisory services. He has closed over 150 transactions during his career, with a particular skill closing “tougher story” deals.
Prior to joining CohnReznick Capital, Jeff was a Managing Director at BDO Capital Advisors. He served previously as the Chief Executive Officer of FTI’s wholly-owned investment banking subsidiary. He has also practiced at other Wall Street firms, including Legg Mason Wood Walker and Rodman & Renshaw. Jeff began his career in 1981 with Manufacturers Hanover Trust in the Corporate Banking Group and then did corporate finance work for Dun & Bradstreet from 1987 to 1992.
Jeff is a published poet and frequent writer and speaker at industry and university events – including Columbia Business School, Johns Hopkins, Darden School at UVA, and Wharton. Notably, he authored a chapter for the Thomson Reuters book Inside the Minds: Avoiding Financial Trouble and Thoughts on the Future. Michael provides advisory services including process management, due diligence, structuring and deal negotiation in the renewable energy sector. He specializes in structuring acquisitions, strategic partnerships and tax equity investments across utility scale and distributed generation assets. In 2014, Michael led structuring activities related to the acquisition of 125MW of solar assets and the tax equity financing of a 300MW wind project. Nico is a Director with CohnReznick Capital and is based in San Diego.
Nico has ten years of investment banking experience and he was previously an Executive Director in J.P. Morgan’s Energy Investments division. During his tenure in this group, Nico structured and executed over $3.7 billion of tax equity investments across 17 utility-scale wind projects, 26 utility-scale solar projects, and over 37,000 residential solar systems representing 3,334 mega-watts of production capacity with nine different energy companies. Nico also structured and executed J.P. Morgan’s first investment in utility-scale energy storage.
Nico started his career in syndicated and leveraged finance for Credit Agricole CIB and then J.P. Morgan. His key strength is working through complex tax and structuring aspects of transactions.

Denis’ financing and M&A experience includes utility-scale & distributed solar as well as wind in the U.S. and Canada.
With over 12 years of sector experience, Denis has been involved in over 5,000MW of renewable energy transactions, including utility-scale and distributed generation wind and solar in the US and Canada, as well as conventional power and infrastructure transactions in the US and abroad.
Before joining CohnReznick Capital, Denis was a Senior Associate and North American Deal Team Lead for Hastings Funds Management in New York, where he led project finance transactions in OECD countries on behalf of Hastings’ clients. Prior to Hastings, he worked in the Project Finance Team in Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (MUFG)’s New York office.
